Biography

Feng He is a professor at the Center for Cancer research, School of Integrated Medicine, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He studies the biological mechanisms of stress response regulation of immune and metabolic homeostasis in the development and progression of tumors in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and metabolic diseases such as fatty liver disease. He aims to find new strategies for prevention and treatment of cancer and fatty liver disease through integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine as well as advanced modern biotechnology tools.
